Operating with a lean, agile team of under 10 full-time international team members, they combine proven category playbooks, print-on-demand (POD) supplier networks, and modern workflows to drive rapid e-commerce growth. 

About the Role

We are seeking an entrepreneurial, self-driven E-Commerce Manager to operate as an Individual Contributor taking end-to-end operational ownership of US market growth. Working directly with the US-based team lead (Brian) and the CEO (Leo), you will drive product assortment expansions, conduct competitor research, analyze marketplace trends, manage POD supplier relationships, and optimize Shopify store conversions. 

The ideal candidate possesses deep commercial intuition for the US e-commerce market, strong data analysis capabilities, and the confidence to defend strategic recommendations independently without over-relying on automated AI outputs. 

Work hours: Flexible 8-hour workday with a required 4-hour overlap with US Eastern/Standard Time zones (either morning or afternoon) to facilitate onboarding, training, and syncs.

What you’ll do

• Product & Assortment Scaling: Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify high-margin marketplace opportunities, launching new product lines and optimizing existing listings to drive sales volume and gross margins. 

• POD & Supplier Relationship Management: Vet, negotiate with, and onboard Print-on-Demand (POD) and fulfillment suppliers. Evaluate supplier product/shipping costs, inventory capacities, production reliability, and Q4 surge planning to prevent stockouts and shipping delays. 

• Shopify Store & Catalog Operations: Oversee daily store operations, ensuring meticulous attention to detail across product setup, pricing, descriptions, bullet points, image assets, and technical platform updates. 

• Data-Driven Analysis & Strategy: Monitor store conversion rates, sales volume, and marketing performance. Present clear, evidence-based recommendations to leadership to optimize store performance. 

• Workflow & Communication Execution: Maintain active operational tracking and cross-functional project management across internal tools (Slack, Asana, Google Sheets). 

• Judicious AI Utilization: Leverage modern AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) as efficient co-pilots to accelerate research and drafting, while maintaining strict personal verification and critical independent thinking over all final work outputs. 

What You Bring

• Relevant Experience: 2 to 3+ years of hands-on, end-to-end e-commerce operations experience, with a mandatory background in/deep understanding of the US e-commerce market (pricing, consumer culture, competitor landscapes). 

• Platform Mastery: Strong proficiency with Shopify is highly preferred (candidates with deep experience in other platforms like Amazon are welcome if adaptable to Shopify). 

• Print-on-Demand (POD) Exposure: Prior experience managing POD supplier integrations, custom/personalized product lines, or giftable assortments is a strong plus. 

• Analytical & Independent Mindset: High comfort with data analysis, comfortable working autonomously without micro-management, and able to defend strategic recommendations to founders. 

• Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with Asana (task management), Slack (communication), and standard Google Workspace tools. 

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English articulation, capable of clear documentation and effective communication.
