Empower Customer Data Value
As a Business Data Analyst at the Customer & Digital Data Office, you will play a key role in developing a data-driven culture within NN. In this position, your primary focus will be to enhance the value of customer data across various Business Units within our organization. You will be instrumental in enabling and improving customer engagement throughout the customer life cycle, ensuring that data insights translate into meaningful actions that drive our business forward. What you are going to do
- Collect, interpret and analyze information regarding bottlenecks and developments in data processes, tools and systems, chains and channels
- Promote change management and continuous improvement throughout the organization. Initiate and implement changes, automation and improvements for continuous data quality improvement, optimization and alignment of data management processes, tools and systems across data domains, business units and multiple agile teams
- Create logical Data models and create the business glossary and data directory
- Provide (un)requested advice and insights to and support internal stakeholders and managers as a subject matter expert with regard to data management topics
- Create, align and monitor (new) customer data policies and standards
- Analyse business and data impact on relevant data related legislations like GDPR, DORA, etc
- Keep up to date with relevant developments in data management and ensure the development (including relevant legal knowledge) and exchange of knowledge among professionals within the department

Who you are
You are a data enthusiast, who is passionate about data governance and data management. You have a strong analytical mind, focus on processes, and you can translate complex data issues into clear and actionable solutions or actions. You are a proactive and collaborative team player, who can communicate effectively with various stakeholders and influence them positively. You are also flexible and adaptable, and you can cope with changing priorities and deadlines. Furthermore, you have:
- A relevant academic degree, with a focus on Data Science, Data Management, Business Analytics, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in data governance, data quality, data management, or data analysis in a large and complex organization
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks, methodologies and best practices, such as DAMA-DMBOK
- Familiarity with data domains and data standards/legislations in the insurance and/or financial industry
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and verbal
- Preferably experience in larger organizations
- Skilled in leading workshops and meetings, guiding discussions and co-creation

You will be joining the Data Office within the Data & AI department of Customer & Digital. The Data Office consists of 8 colleagues who all aim to improve data quality, data management and collaboration within and between Business Units. The team tackles all kind of data management topics.
The Data office team thrives on collaboration, often working together to brainstorm ideas and tackle challenges. However, we also value individual initiative and encourage each team member to bring their unique perspectives and skills to the table. This balance of teamwork and autonomy creates a atmosphere where everyone can contribute to our shared goals while enjoying the journey together.
