Description
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of preschool students this fall! Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to support an early childhood program in Chicago Ridge, IL during the 2026–2027 fall semester.
Position Overview:
- Support preschool students by providing social-emotional interventions during a short-term FMLA coverage assignment.
- Manage a specialized caseload while maintaining compliance with IEPs, documentation, and state requirements.
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student growth and implement behavioral supports.
- Provide crisis support and connect students and families with appropriate community resources.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Active Illinois Social Worker License
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement
- Experience supporting preschool or early childhood students preferred
