The Finance Manager position within the Sales Finance organization will be responsible for reporting and analytics of financials for the Sales leadership teams to achieve business, financial, and strategic objectives while upholding fiduciary responsibilities to create sustainable shareholder value. Duties and responsibilities of this role include working on a variety of business objectives such as reporting & analysis, managing LE forecasts, and presenting results to Sales leaders.
The candidate will demonstrate strong business partnership in a co-pilot relationship with VPs they support. They will work in a dynamic team environment demonstrating close collaboration within the Sales support functions and the Sales teams in addition to our segment finance partners and/or Corporate Finance.
The position will partner closely with Business Units, Sales, and within the Sales & Growth Finance team to develop and analyze key performance metrics to drive positive business performance by delivering timely periodic forecasts and reporting to the Sales and Business Unit leaders. This will include areas such as spend performance versus budget for cost centers and MDF expenses, managing the LE/AOP forecast for Brokerage, delivering weekly volume, fill rate and on-time delivery reporting and other key areas where opportunities arise.
Responsibilities of this role include but not limited to:
- Support the Sales Leadership in managing the day-to-day financials of their business
- Manage and report on spending by team regularly
- Strategic finance partner to various Sales VP’s
- Deliver customer financial analysis leveraging consistent standards set by Tyson
- Manage spend budgets, analyze variances to plan, develop plans to ensure achievement of goals around spending and headcount
- Finance Partner with the business for the annual planning process
- Support and develop business case recommendations and financial models for cost savings and key initiatives
- Identify risks and opportunities to financial forecasts, driving forecasting for the Sales teams
- Partner with cross-functional teams on ad-hoc initiatives and requests
- Coach and grow supporting team members to reach their potential

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance field. MBA preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years’ related experience in related Accounting or Finance roles.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and leadership.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Strong experience with and knowledge of datasets and Tyson business processes preferred. Experience with SAP, Power BI, AI tools, Analysis for Excel, Blacksmith (Forge) and accrual rate management are a plus.
