CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, YAYASAN KPJ

GENERAL DESCRIPTION :

The CEO of Yayasan KPJ will lead the foundation’s strategic direction, operational management, and philanthropic initiatives in alignment with KPJ Healthcare Berhad’s mission and values. The CEO will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that promote social responsibility, drive community development, and support educational, research, and healthcare initiatives under the KPJ banner. This role requires visionary leadership, strong financial stewardship, and an ability to foster strategic partnerships for sustainable impact.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Strategic Leadership & Vision

• Developing the Trust’s Mission and Vision: Define the long-term vision of Yayasan KPJ and ensure that all initiatives align with the trust’s core values, objectives, and broader corporate goals.
• Setting Strategic Direction: Lead the development of strategic plans, initiatives, and priorities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the trust’s success.
• Monitoring Trends & Industry Developments: Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in philanthropy, healthcare, and education to guide the trust’s strategic direction and maintain relevance.
• Operational Oversight & Execution: Oversee the trust’s day-to-day activities, ensuring operational efficiency, financial sustainability, and regulatory compliance.

  Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and ethical guidelines.
• Work with the Board of Trustees to establish policies, monitor performance, and ensure transparency and accountability.
• Manage risk and implement best governance practices across all foundation activities.

  Financial Stewardship

• Develop and oversee the annual budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation. Lead fundraising and grant acquisition efforts, securing funding to support Yayasan KPJ’s mission.
• Ensure proper financial reporting to the Group CFO and the Board of Trustees.

  Partnership Development

• Cultivate partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, academic institutions, and private sector stakeholders.
• Represent Yayasan KPJ at national and international forums, strengthening the foundation's presence and partnerships.

  People Leadership

• Build and lead a high-performing team that reflects the foundation’s values.
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative culture that prioritizes innovation, community service, and employee development.

  Monitoring & Evaluation

• Implement mechanisms for tracking the foundation’s impact across its programs.
• Regularly report to the Board and stakeholders on key performance metrics and strategic progress.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Key Deliverables:

• Successful incorporation and official launch of Yayasan KPJ
• Develop and implement a strategic partnerships and grants framework.
• Integrate research, education, and healthcare funding strategies into KPJ’s corporate structure.
• Ensure alignment with KPJ’s People & Culture initiatives and social responsibility programs.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Minimum of 15 years of leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role within healthcare, corporate social responsibility, education, or foundation management.
• Proven experience in fundraising, partnership development, and financial management.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and nonprofit operations.
