Data & BI Sr Associate, ESS Reporting & Insights

Job Summary:

The Senior Data & Business Intelligence Associate is responsible for sourcing, preparing, validating, and analyzing data for Corporate Information Security, Physical Security, Fraud, and other ESS stakeholders. Outputs may include production reports, dashboards, analytical datasets, and insights that support business decisions.

The associate uses queries, data mining, and reporting tools to answer questions such as “How do I measure?” and “What happened?”. Through self-managed data sourcing projects, this role partners with technology and business teams to turn data into business intelligence solutions, process improvements, automations, and reports.

Success in this role requires critical thinking, technical expertise, strong communication, and the ability to anticipate business needs. The associate should provide clear reporting and analysis, lead conversations with stakeholders, and deliver solutions that consider impacts across teams and lines of business.

Essential Functions:

• Independently deliver moderate to complex analyses and reports using large datasets and tools such as Python, SQL, Google Cloud, Tableau, Power BI, and similar platforms
• Translate data into business intelligence insights, reports, and analysis that answer business questions and support decision-making
• Identify, anticipate, and clarify business needs and determine how to obtain the right information
• Automate, standardize, and maintain recurring reports and dashboards
• Effectively communicate key points to respective stakeholders, with the right amount of detail
• Document solutions and create procedures to support ongoing testing, validation, and production continuity
• Review work product of junior staff; provide input, direction, and mentorship

Required Qualifications:

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred (or its equivalent) in Data Analytics, Business Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Statistics (or other related field) with 6 years of relevant experience preferred.

Skills

• Working knowledge of Python or similar programming languages
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar BI tools
• Advanced SQL skills
• Experience with implementation of process automation
• Strong ability to access, interpret, and validate data from enterprise data sources
• Capable of working independently and owning output end-to-end
• Solid written and verbal communication skills; organizes material for brevity, persuasiveness, and impact
• Experience in reviewing work, mentoring junior analysts, and contributing to a collaborative team environment
• Proven relationship building ability
• Collaborate and lead conversations with business and technology partners to identify and understand analytic / business needs and gather requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Information Security, Authentication and Identity Verification, Identity and Access Management, Fraud, or Physical Security

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
