The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the successful management of each client’s digital and social advertising campaigns. We are looking for someone who is creative and enjoys analytics to measure and optimize digital marketing campaigns. Someone who is excited to help our clients grow their customer base. The Digital Marketing Specialist should have a passion for driving more brand awareness, local store traffic and conversions for our clients. They must be able to develop and implement a cohesive digital strategy from awareness to lead generation, engagement to conversion. This individual should be excited and able to analyze data to guide campaigns and content strategy. This individual will also need to deliver and communicate analytics in a concise, presentable way to clients. The Digital Marketing Specialist handles the day-to-day operations of projects, including research, scope development, creative briefs and job execution. This individual is responsible for communicating with clients and organizing information shared by and with the client. The candidate must be prepared for a fast-paced environment and be comfortable making decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a digital and social advertising strategy for individual clients from awareness to lead generation, engagement to conversion. This includes digital advertising and social media campaign development and execution.
• Builds strong, trusting relationships between clients and customers, providing leadership and support during strategy, ideation, and execution
• Proactively engages with clients to identify client goals, provide project status updates, offer new ideas, and communicate solutions to issues/concerns
• Constantly engaged with client and their business to provide recommendations on advertising and promotion ideas
• Possesses the ability to effectively track the implementation of the plans they’ve developed through online software
• Has the ability to shift course and respond to anything that happens in this fast-paced and sometimes-volatile environment
• Writes communications briefs, ensuring creative and media are effectively integrated
• Communicates complex analytics in a concise, presentable way to clients and cross-functional teams
• Executes projects on-time and on-budget
• Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Formal Training:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field; or equivalent experience and certification.

Experience:

• Strong passion for digital, cross-channel marketing and social media management and engagement
• 2-3 years of Social/Digital Media Strategy experience. Experience running both paid and organic digital and social campaigns.
• Strong portfolio of campaign examples
• Collaboration across teams and ability to maintain strong client relations
• Self-starter with deadline-driven mentality
• Working knowledge of WordPress and ability to modify web landing pages used in ad campaigns
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in data analysis and reporting to enable decisions in marketing
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on with Retargeting campaigns, custom audiences, tracking pixels and UTM Links
• Proficient with Facebook Business and Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads Manager, Yelp Advertising. Certification in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook, is a plus
