As a Security Officer - Full Time Reception  in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in an educational location, you will greet students, staff, and visitors, support access control procedures, manage badges, and maintain a professional presence. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity, communicate clearly, and help support a welcoming, secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and reception policies.
• Monitor access to the educational location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to appropriate offices or departments.
• Answer incoming calls, manage front-desk communications, and maintain visitor and/or incident logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established response protocols.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and support a welcoming learning environment through professional presence, observation, and timely reporting of unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
