Shipping/ Receiving Supervisor

Hyve Solutions designs, manufactures, and delivers custom server, storage, and networking solutions for leading cloud, social media, and enterprise companies. We’re seeking a Shipping/Receiving Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, support accurate inventory and shipping, and develop a team that works safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and material handling activities for the assigned shift.
• Enforce health and safety requirements through audits, daily checks, and team coaching.
• Manage time and attendance in Workday for employees and contingent workers.
• Maintain accurate receiving and shipping records, and reject materials that do not meet requirements.
• Coordinate material schedules and stock availability to support production needs and new model introductions.
• Oversee cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to prevent repeat issues.
• Monitor productivity, attendance, retention, inventory accuracy, and shipping performance.
• Train and evaluate associates, participate in hiring, and support effective onboarding.
• Support regulatory compliance, ISO audits, asset protection, and applicable 3PL operations.
• Work with other departments to resolve issues and improve warehouse tools and processes.
• Operate a forklift and assist with manual handling as needed.

Qualifications

• At least three years of people management experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused warehouse environment.
• Experience with warehouse management systems, inventory control, shipping, and receiving.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices, ISO audits, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and other workplace systems.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• A recognized supervisory or warehouse management certification, or progress toward one.
• Valid counterbalance forklift certification or license.
• Ability to perform manual handling, work required shifts, and travel as needed up to 25%.
