Description
This position would be an assistant children’s Ministry for services as well as the weekly Administrative Assistant responsibilities for Children’s Ministry. They will play a crucial role in implementing the vision and mission of New Life Christian Fellowship. Through leadership and administrative support as well as through serving in a ministry capacity, this role allows ministry to the city of Jacksonville as well as our congregation to happen effectively.
Requirements
This position needs someone who enjoys working with children and can work with them one on one or in larger groups of children. This position will need to communicate well, both verbally and in written form. Ability to work with Microsoft Office programs, manage online calendars, learn new software necessary for planning events and processing purchases. Ability to work with volunteers, assisting in recruiting, scheduling, and training them. As an Administrative Assistant you will also need flexibility to jump in to help in other areas as needs may arise, including assisting others to cover the Receptionist position if needed.
