Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Dedicated Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, tenants, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the financial institution location, including the business areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Help maintain a professional presence at the location while following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
