Job Summary:
Entry-level development role for a recent graduate with little or no professional experience. Through supervised assignments in Accounts Payable, Treasury, Accounting support, and Fixed Assets, the Graduate, Finance helps maintain accurate financial records, supports payments and cash management, and contributes to reporting, reconciliations, and audit readiness for Cobre Panamá. The role follows internal controls, financial policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
•  Review and validate supplier invoices, check required documentation and tax information, and register approved transactions in the ERP system.

•  Follow up and reconcile goods received not invoiced (GRNI) items and resolve invoice or supplier discrepancies with relevant teams.

•  Support payment scheduling and controls, maintain supplier records, and respond to supplier inquiries within assigned authority.

•  Perform bank reconciliations under supervision and record or monitor transactions in internal systems and banking platforms.

•  Assist with cash flow reports, variance analysis, and communication with banks and internal departments.

•  Support monthly closing activities, account reconciliations, and Accounts Payable reporting under the guidance of the Finance team.

•  Validate and maintain fixed asset documentation and update asset records, including data cleansing and accuracy checks.

•  Prepare fixed asset reports linked to purchase orders, invoices, and capital projects in coordination with Finance, Projects, and Procurement.

•  Maintain organized financial and asset records and support documentation for audits and management reviews.

•  Contribute to improvements in reporting, recordkeeping, and control processes while following financial policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
•  Recently graduated in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

•  No prior professional experience required; relevant internships or academic projects are desirable.

•  Basic understanding of invoice processing, financial documentation, bank reconciliations, and internal controls.

•  Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP systems such as JDE and banking platforms is desirable.

•  Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and ability to work with Finance, suppliers, banks, and operational teams.
