Description
Are you eager to help shape the future of mobility and contribute to sustainability? Then Vossloh is the right place for you. Join our team and be part of innovative solutions that drive positive change in the transportation industry.
1. End-to-End Project Oversight
Spearhead the overall planning, execution, and control of the HSG-2 Import Rail Grinding Vehicle project. Lead the development of the implementation plan, define key milestones, and oversee the entire lifecycle including production, technical alignment, and delivery. You will be ultimately accountable for the final deliverables and on-time performance.
2. Multi-Stakeholder Coordination
Act as the primary point of contact (SPOC) between the General Contractor, German Headquarters (Vossloh), and internal teams. Establish and maintain efficient communication channels, regularly convene tripartite meetings (online/offline), and ensure precise, real-time information flow. Accurately translate technical specifications and delivery requirements to the production and engineering teams in Germany, while reporting progress and challenges back to the General Contractor and internal stakeholders.
3. Technical & Production Control
Deeply engage with the German technical team to monitor the end-to-end manufacturing process of the HSG-2. Focus on production schedules, manufacturing quality, and adherence to technical parameters, ensuring full compliance with both German manufacturing standards and the General Contractor’s requirements.
4. Delivery & Acceptance Management
Track global shipment status to ensure the equipment is transported safely and punctually from Germany to China. Coordinate on-site commissioning, testing, and final acceptance activities to ensure successful handover to the end-user.
5. Risk & Issue Management
Proactively identify potential project risks (technical deviations, delays, communication gaps) and implement mitigation strategies. Lead the resolution of ad-hoc issues by coordinating cross-functional teams across departments, Germany, and the General Contractor to drive problems to closure and ensure smooth project progression.
Qualifications:
1. Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the rail transit industry, with a solid background in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical engineering.
2. Project Management Skills: Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., Gantt charts). Demonstrated ability to independently develop plans, control schedules, manage risks, and execute contingency plans to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
3. Communication & Coordination: Exceptional interpersonal and coordination skills. Ability to clearly convey technical needs, production status, and delivery requirements, while effectively resolving conflicts across departments, borders, and partner organizations.
4. Technical Acumen: Ability to rapidly comprehend the technical parameters, production processes, and railway industry standards related to the HSG-2 Grinding Vehicle. Capable of interfacing with technical teams to resolve deviations during production and delivery.
5. Language Skills: Excellent command of English as a working language (spoken & written) for communication, technical alignment, and meeting facilitation. German proficiency is highly preferred.
6. Other Requirements: Willingness to travel extensively for extended periods to provide on-site support and technical assistance. (Note: Business travel includes hotel accommodation and a daily travel allowance).
