Description

Project Supervisor:

Project Supervisor oversees construction crews in the shop and on job sites. Project Supervisor's responsibilities include monitoring performance, making recommendations for improvement, and educating all staff on safety. Manage projects to stay within budget and ensure required materials and equipment are available.

Demonstrate a sound understanding of safety regulations, underground excavation practices, and be able to transfer this knowledge to your team. 

Identify problems and find feasible solutions to them.

- Iowa

- Minnesota

- Wisconsin

- Des Moines metro area

- Northern Minnesota

- Southern Minnesota 

- Twin Cities Metro Area - West

- Twin Cities Metro Area - South

- Northern Wisconsin (Northwoods)

- Central Wisconsin 

Responsibilities:

·  Ensuring teams work together to deliver quality work safely while meeting strict deadlines

·  Monitoring construction processes and providing training/team building sessions are required

·  Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations at all times

·  Performing routine JSA and Safety Audits at job site on all equipment and materials

·  Scheduling regular meetings with vendors, site inspectors, managers, subcontractors, and staff

·  Writing reports, budgets, project plans, and presenting them to relevant stakeholders

·  Collaborating closely with architects and other professionals

·  Staying up to date with safety codes and advancements in construction

·  Processing paperwork and traveling to multiple sites as required

 

Requirements

  Requirements:

·  High School diploma or equivalent

·  Proficient with reading and translating design prints, as-built maps, locate tickets, and permits

·  Experience in underground utility construction, leadership experience, valid driver's license, and excellent communication/writing skills
