Description
As a Project Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations at job sites, coordinate teams and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This is a fully onsite role requiring strong leadership, construction knowledge, and excellent communication skills.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and coordinate construction crews, subcontractors, and onsite personnel.Oversee daily job-site operations, ensuring work schedules align with project timelines.Review blueprints, plans, and specifications to guide project execution.Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with standards.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.Monitor resource utilization, including workforce, materials, and equipment.Report progress, risks, and issues to senior management and propose corrective actions.Enforce safety protocols and ensure all personnel follow regulatory guidelines and company policies.Manage change orders, cost control, and budget tracking in collaboration with estimators and finance.Ensure that deliverables are met on time and that project milestones are achieved.Provide hands-on support to crews, mentor workers, and facilitate problem-solving on the ground.Document work, maintain daily reports, and track project progress. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.3–7 years of supervisory experience in construction or general contracting.Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and the building process.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and construction documentation.Proven leadership skills, with experience managing diverse teams and subcontractors.Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Budgets, cost management, and basic financial literacy.Commitment to maintaining safety standards, with proven experience enforcing safety protocols.Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate risks and propose solutions.Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to multiple job sites.Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus. Work Environment & ConditionsFully onsite role — you will spend most of your time on job sites.Work may involve early mornings, weekends, and overtime depending on project demands.Physical presence on construction sites exposes you to typical outdoor construction conditions.Must use personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce safety standards for yourself and your team.
