Senior Research Fellow – MSIR Legacy Project
Provide research and publication skill and expertise to enable the completion of the research project The Sisters of Charity, St Vincent’s and Sydney’s Medically Supervised Injecting Room
The purpose of the Senior Research Fellow is to:
- Provide advanced research expertise – including in the design, conduct, publication and dissemination of the research project The Sisters of Charity, St Vincent’s and Sydney’s Medically Supervised Injecting Room – in order to enable the project’s completion.
- Work collaboratively with the National Director of Ethics and the broader National Mission Team to develop and implement dissemination strategies that translate research findings into practical resources and insights, supporting leaders and clinicians across St Vincent’s and other Catholic health providers in navigating ethical and leadership complexity.
- Where relevant, contribute to broader engagements with the St Vincent’s team.
About you:
- Capacity to understand and apply the SVHA mission and values
- Experience and demonstrated skills in project management including the ability to maintain a high standard of record keeping and meeting competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact sensitively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills including oral, written and presentation skills.
- Advanced experience in research related activities including conducting literature searches, archival research, collecting and analysing data using qualitative methods, and research governance including human research ethics approvals;
- A publication and dissemination record which demonstrates a capacity to utilise research finds to advance knowledge and to support change.
