Our client is seeking Head of Operations: Estates & Hospitality to take charge of a diverse portfolio of estates, guesthouses, and lodge operations across the Western Cape and Namaqualand. Responsibilities:

• The role functions as the primary operational link between the owner and the various properties and managers

• Ensure the effective operational management of all properties and infrastructure

• Coordinate and support local managers and staff

• Develop and implement operational budgets

• Oversee infrastructure, maintenance, and service providers

• Ensure stable and professional operations across the entire portfolio Requirements:

• Estate or property management experience

• Lodge or hospitality operations experience

• Farm or estate management experience

• Infrastructure and maintenance oversight experience

• Operational management of distributed assets experience

• Operational skills o Strong organisational ability o Budgeting and cost control capability o Practical problem-solving o Project and maintenance management

• Management skills o Strong people management ability o Capacity to coordinate teams o Clear communication o Reliability and accountability

• Practical orientation o Is comfortable dealing with infrastructure and technical issues o Can remain calm under operational pressure o Can implement practical solutions
