Serve as the finance partner for our business unit (approximately $20M portfolio) in Laval, Quebec. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role and will work directly with leadership, balancing deep financial execution with the influence to challenge and guide business decisions.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting, aligned with enterprise methodology and systems.
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly business and financial reviews (MBR, MFR, QBR, QFR) to leadership and executives.
- Partner with leadership to evaluate performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support business decisions.
- Push back constructively and tell the story behind the numbers to gain operational buy-in.
- Build financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases for investments, proposals, and pricing.
- Establish accountability for forecast accuracy and budget management through disciplined review.
- Introduce and improve planning processes, reporting tools, and data quality in collaboration with Finance, Accounting, and Operations.
- Learn and use Adaptive, Workday, and Office Connect.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred: MBA; CPA, CMA, FP&A, or other relevant accounting credential.
- Fluent in both English and French (native-level in both French and English), written and spoken is a must.
- Based in Quebec and able to work on-site at the Laval office at least 3 days per week.
- 7-10 years of relevant finance experience. Prior team leadership is a plus but not required.
- Strong financial acumen and experience partnering with leadership teams, including the confidence to push back at the executive level.
- Experience owning the budget, forecast, and reporting cycle for a function or business unit.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Quick learner of new systems. Experience with Adaptive, Workday, or Office Connect is an asset.
- Ability to balance hands-on analysis with influencing and communicating with stakeholders.
Targeted Compensation:
$52-$62/h (equivalent to approximately $108,160-$128,960) annually based on a 40-hour work week)

Votre profil:
- Baccalauréat dans un domaine pertinent ou combinaison équivalente d'études et d'expérience.
- Atouts : MBA, titre de CPA, CMA, FP&A ou autre certification comptable pertinente.
- Maîtrise courante de l'anglais et du français (français langue maternelle, anglais d'un excellent niveau), à l'oral comme à l'écrit (indispensable).
- Basé(e) au Québec et capable de travailler sur site au bureau de Laval au moins 3 jours par semaine.
- 7 à 10 ans d'expérience pertinente en finance. Une expérience préalable en gestion d'équipe constitue un atout, sans être obligatoire.
- Solide sens financier et expérience de collaboration avec des équipes de direction, incluant l'assurance nécessaire pour contester des décisions au niveau de la haute direction.
- Expérience dans la gestion complète du cycle budgétaire, des prévisions et du reporting pour une fonction ou une unité d'affaires.
- Maîtrise avancée d'Excel.
- Capacité à assimiler rapidement de nouveaux systèmes. Une expérience avec Adaptive, Workday ou Office Connect constitue un atout.
- Capacité à concilier le travail d'analyse pratique avec l'influence et la communication auprès des parties prenantes.
Rémunération visée:
52$ à 62$ de l'heure (équivalant à environ 108 160$ – 128 960$ par an, sur la base d'une semaine de travail de 40 heures).
