Assistant Teaching Professor (non-tenure track) position in the Department of Accountancy starting Fall 2027 semester.Job Description
This position will provide quality teaching at the undergraduate level; advise students; and provide service to the profession and university.
The Department of Accountancy currently has approximately 200 graduates per year, and consists of approximately 25 members included tenured/tenure-track faculty, teaching professors/lecturers, part-time instructors, and staff members. The Department values high-quality teaching and research. The Farmer School of Business has approximately 1,200 graduates per year. Minimum Requirements:
Required: Doctorate in Accounting or closely related field by date of appointment.
Consideration may be given to candidates with demonstrated quality collegiate teaching experience, and a proven ability to teach accountancy content effectively; experience in any area of accounting and at all levels of coursework, including teaching introductory financial and managerial accounting.
Introductory accountancy courses can range in size from small (~30-40 students per class) to large sections (~150-250 students per class); upper-level accountancy courses are generally small (~30-40 students per class).
