Director of Care (RN) | Private-Pay Senior Care

• Location: Metro Vancouver, BC (on-site)
• Type: Full-time, permanent
• Base salary: $100,000 to $145,000 per year
• Bonus: Performance-based, with total comp potential of $200K+
• Must have: Active RN registration with BCCNM

The opportunity

A newer, privately owned senior care community needs a clinical leader to own care from the ground up.

You'll shape the clinical model, lead a 24/7 team across three shifts, and set the standard residents and families feel every day.

What you'll own

• Care quality: assessments, care plans and medication management
• Your team: lead and coach RNs, LPNs and health care assistants
• Scheduling: staffing that works, with overtime under control
• Clinical systems: policies, documentation and audits that scale
• Compliance: infection control and inspection readiness
• Families: the trusted clinical voice for residents and loved ones
• Partnership: balance care quality and cost alongside the GM

What you bring

• Registered Nurse with active BCCNM registration (required)
• Director of Care, Director of Nursing or similar leadership experience in residential care or senior living
• A sharp eye for scheduling, staffing and budgets
• Experience leading care for residents with complex needs
• Start-up or new-build experience (a big plus)
• Comfort with electronic health records and clinical systems
• Calm, visible leadership. You're on the floor, not behind a door.
