Construction Inspector

In this role, you will be working with a company that provides construction materials testing and inspection services. This position will be responsible for performing field inspections and testing of construction materials, primarily concrete and soil. The ideal candidate will have relevant certifications and experience conducting inspections at active construction sites. Experience with asphalt testing, foundation inspections, and other construction materials inspections is a plus.

This position is a Temp To Possible Permanent opportunity that will require to be fully on site.

The role will involve traveling to various project sites, with most projects located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, as well as documenting inspection results and communicating findings with the office and project teams.

Pay: $50,000–$65,000/Yr.

• 2+ years of experience in construction materials testing, quality inspection, or a related field preferred.

• Relevant certifications in concrete and soil testing or inspection.

• Experience performing field inspections and testing construction materials.

• Ability to document inspection results and prepare accurate field reports.

• Experience with asphalt testing, foundation inspections, and soil compaction testing

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and inspection requirements.

• Comfortable using a computer for reporting, documentation, and communication.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as required for site visits.
