Job Summary
Supports day-to-day Dependent Eligibility Verification (DEV) operations by reviewing eligibility documents, processing verification cases, maintaining quality standards, and completing assigned work within defined TAT/SLA requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Review employee and dependent eligibility information for health benefits.
• Validate documents such as marriage certificates, birth certificates, court orders, adoption papers, tax forms, and other verification records.
• Process assigned DEV cases accurately and within expected TAT/SLA timelines.
• Index incoming documents and linking them to the correct employee or dependent profile.
• Manage assigned work queues and prioritize urgent or TAT-sensitive cases.
• Perform peer reviews or quality checks as assigned and identify corrections where required.
• Research routine discrepancies, resolve processing exceptions, and escalate risks or aging cases on time.
• Follow SOPs, client rules, compliance requirements, and internal quality standards.
• Participate in cross-training, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement activities.
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and validate supporting documents accurately.
• Good understanding of quality checks, compliance, and operational procedures.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability and ownership of assigned work.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and perform independently.
• Knowledge of DEV operations, eligibility verification, and US health and Benefits Domain is preferred.
Experience
2-4 years of experience in benefits administration, dependent verification, operations processing, or related support functions.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
