You will be responsible for cashiering activities for Travelers Insurance Company, Travelers Insurance Designated Activity Company and Travelers Legal Ltd. Your primary remit will include receipting and processing insurance payment transactions across multiple bank accounts, ensuring accuracy, control and timely posting.

Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy. This entails full time employees working three days a week in the office and two days at home (or pro rata for part-time employees). This policy may be changed at the Company’s discretion.

What Will You Do?

• Ensure that insurance cash payments and receipting functions operate in line with in-force SLAs with business users.
• Ensure that automated and manual cash-related financial ledger postings are correctly allocated by legal entity and are processed within required deadlines.
• Follow up on head-office generated bank reconciliation queries in a timely manner, ensuring queries are cleared within one month.
• Ensure individual bank account funding is at appropriate levels.
• Preparation of short- and longer-term cash flow summaries.
• Compile financial data for variance analysis and reporting of results against expectations. Perform less complex analysis.
• Utilize appropriate tools to obtain data necessary to support financial analysis and create financial transactions. Responsibilities may include extracting and analyzing data.
• Prepare, evaluate and complete less complex analyses to support financial/business plans, budget and forecasts for the organisation.
• Engage with US and UK colleagues on cash management initiatives, including process and system changes.
• Support the continuous improvement of cashiering and cash management processes and controls.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Good knowledge and experience of cashiering functions.
• Experience in multi-currency transactions (an advantage).
• Strong team player with effective communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable operating financial systems related to cashiering and cash accounting.
• Strong financial controls competence and awareness of risk and compliance.

What is a Must Have?

• Educated to A level (or equivalent).
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., formulas, filters, lookups, pivot tables an advantage).
• Good time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
