Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
• Collect patient information and update electronic medical records accurately
• Verify insurance coverage and process payments for services rendered
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area and waiting room
• Communicate with doctors, nurses, and other staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective patient care
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and data protection
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and ordering office supplies
• Continuously strive to improve processes and provide excellent customer service to patients.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Compassionate and empathetic towards patients
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
