Dewberry is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our Lakeland, FL office. The Senior Project Manager will serve as a technical leader on compliance and water resource challenges with a primary focus on regulatory and funding programs. This individual is also responsible for marketing of local, state, and national clients as well as managing projects.

Responsibilities
- Perform technical work and develop project execution strategies.
- Execute project activities with clients and project team and coordinate with regulatory agencies.
- Manage contracts, project scope, progress reporting, schedule, resources, and budget and ensure our services meet a high standard of quality.
- Prepare facility and environmental permit applications and complete permit compliance monitoring.
- Prepare and facilitate funding strategies for clients and coordinate with the team on efforts
- Work collectively with the team to develop strategies for business development and marketing with local, state and national client base and maintain strong client relationships.
- Train, coach and mentor professional staff.
Required Skills & Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biology, Botany, Oceanography, Environmental Science & Policy, Hydrogeology or related field is required.
- 20+ years of work experience is required.
- Experience working with FDEP and water Management Districts is required.
- Experience planning and executing activities for multiple major projects or an entire program.
- Ability to execute and coordinate permitting and assessment activities with internal/external clients and regulatory agencies.
- Knowledge of Florida regulations and permitting.
- Experience managing a team of professionals with a wide array of skill sets.
