Who Are We
Warner Bros. Discovery's Enterprise Data, AI & Strategy (EDAIS) organization enables business and technology teams to use data and artificial intelligence to improve decisions, automate work, and create new products and experiences. Our Data & AI Product Management function translates enterprise priorities into outcome-led products that are valuable to users, feasible to deliver, scalable across teams, and governed responsibly.
Your New Role
The Product Manager - Data & AI will own the end-to-end lifecycle of data, analytics, machine learning, and generative AI products—from opportunity discovery and product definition through delivery, launch, adoption, and value realization. The role works at the intersection of business, product, data, design, engineering, architecture, and governance to convert complex needs into a clear roadmap and measurable outcomes. Enterprise Data & AI investments often underperform when use cases remain project-led, requirements are unclear, priorities shift, or adoption and value are not actively managed. A dedicated product manager creates sustained accountability for user needs, business outcomes, roadmap choices, delivery trade-offs, responsible AI controls, and post-launch performance—helping the organization move from isolated solutions to reusable, scalable Data & AI products.
In this role, you will:
•Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and release priorities for assigned Data & AI products, aligned to enterprise goals and user needs. •Lead structured discovery with business stakeholders and end users to clarify problems, user journeys, decision points, data requirements, constraints, and measurable outcomes.
•Translate opportunities into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process designs, and a prioritized backlog; make transparent trade-offs across value, effort, risk, and time.
•Partner with Data Science, Data Engineering, ML Engineering, AI Platform, UX, Architecture, Security, Privacy, Legal, and Responsible AI teams to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant products.
•Define product success measures covering adoption, user experience, data or model quality, reliability, cost, risk, operational performance, and business value; use evidence to refine priorities.
•Drive stakeholder governance through clear decision forums, roadmap reviews, dependency management, risk escalation, executive communication, and disciplined status reporting.
•Plan launches and adoption, including pilots, user testing, communications, training, support readiness, feedback loops, benefit tracking, and continuous product improvement.
Key Skills
• Product management: Strong product discovery, strategy, roadmap, prioritization, backlog, release planning, and lifecycle management capability.
• Data & AI literacy: Working knowledge of data platforms, analytics, data products, ML, GenAI, model lifecycles, and responsible AI.
• Business analysis and value: Ability to frame ambiguous problems, build business cases, define outcomes, assess feasibility, and connect decisions to measurable impact.
• Agile delivery: Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery, including user stories, acceptance criteria, sprint planning, and dependency management.
• Stakeholder management: Ability to influence senior stakeholders, resolve competing priorities, facilitate decisions, and maintain alignment in a matrixed organization.
• Analytics and experimentation: Comfort with product analytics, dashboards, user feedback, experimentation, KPI tracking, and evidence-based decisions.
• Communication and execution: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with strong ownership, structured thinking, and execution discipline.
Key Domain
• Data Engineering: scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and transformation workflows built with Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Cloud Infrastructure: data lake and warehouse environments across AWS S3, Redshift, and Snowflake.
• Platform Automation: orchestration, validation, and monitoring using Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, and CI/CD pipelines.
Core Elements
• Duration: 6 Months
• Eligibility: - MBA/PGDM, M.Tech, M.E., M.S., M.Sc., or equivalent—in Product Management, Business, Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in product management, business analysis, consulting, digital transformation, or Data & AI delivery within a large enterprise setup.
- Exposure to data, analytics, AI/ML, GenAI, automation, or digital products. Familiarity with Jira/Azure DevOps, Confluence, cloud, data platforms, or product analytics tools is advantageous.
• Date of joining: Apr 2027
Key Deliverables
• A clear product vision, target users, business case, outcome measures, and prioritized 12–18 month roadmap.
• Validated discovery outputs, product requirements, acceptance criteria, and an actively governed delivery backlog.
• Successful pilots and production launches with adoption, operational readiness, feedback, analytics, and governance controls.
• Regular product reviews covering adoption, quality, cost, risk, value, lessons learned, and roadmap decisions.
