Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility for a mid-morning start.
Warehouse Operations & Team Leadership
- Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
- Supervise, schedule, train, coach, and develop warehouse employees.
- Assign daily priorities and monitor productivity, attendance, and performance.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and performance management.
- Work alongside the team and assist with daily warehouse tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and safe work environment.
- Ensure employees follow company policies, warehouse procedures, and safety standards.
- Receive, store, organize, and distribute inventory, equipment, parts, and supplies.
- Conduct inventory counts, reconcile variances, and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment as needed.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and assist with fleet and vehicle maintenance.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Track equipment condition, availability, and movement.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, and equipment reliability.
- Work closely with the operations leaders to meet warehouse objectives.
- Support field service teams by ensuring technicians have the parts, tools, and equipment needed to complete their work.
- Coordinate equipment availability for installations, repairs, and service needs.
- Help identify and resolve recurring equipment issues.
- Assist with equipment audits and service-related inventory management.
- Communicate equipment availability and service needs to the appropriate teams.
- Monitor warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, equipment needs, and operational performance.
- Resolve day-to-day operational issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate reports and communicate updates to leadership.
- Help implement processes that improve safety, efficiency, and productivity.
Ingredients for Thriving:
- Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, equipment management, or a related field.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience with a union team.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to occasionally lift equipment, parts, and supplies up to 50 lbs.
- Primarily warehouse-based with occasional office and field responsibilities.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds and operate warehouse equipment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
