Job Description

As a Security Officer Computer Assisted Patrol in Stoughton, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. Use computer or tablet tools to document activity and support access control functions while working with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site protocols.
• Support a professional environment by reporting maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and/or designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
