Lead the Investment Operations team

The wealth management business consists of three distinct brands in addition to Perpetual Private – Fordham, Jacaranda financial planning and Priority Life – offering a unique mix of wealth management, advice and trustee services. With a diverse range of capabilities including strategic advice on superannuation and retirement planning, general investment, asset protection, insurance, tax management, estate planning, aged care, social security, succession planning and philanthropy. About the Role:
Lead and manage the Investment Operations (IO) team to deliver investment operations initiatives and ongoing servicing to support Perpetual Investments’ investment management capabilities.
Support and implement the strategic, operational and product related requirements of Investment Operations
Lead the planning and development of the Investment Operations team strategy and contribute to the broader Operations & Business function strategy for Perpetual Wealth.
Lead, develop and champion a client centric focus within the IO team and in all investment operations activities; enhancing stakeholder management
Embed a culture of continuous improvement within the IO team and drive improvements in efficiency and performance across IO
Oversee and govern the IO Transitional Service Arrangement activities and outcomes of the Perpetual group up to TSA exit.
About You:
We’re looking for someone with:
Minimum 10 years in Wealth Asset management
Deep experience in the Funds management industry through Investment operations, custodian or product roles
Strong organisational skills
Strong problem solving, research and analytical skills
Superior communication skills
Demonstrated people/stakeholder management skills
A flexible, pragmatic and hands-on style
