Role

We are seeking a passionate, energetic and service-oriented Human Resources Team Leader to join Janu Tokyo. At Janu, we believe in the power of genuine human connection. Responsibilities

• Coordinate and allocate tasks within the HR team, ensuring recruitment activities are executed effectively in line with workforce planning and hiring targets
• Manage job postings, candidate communications, interview scheduling, and recruitment tracking to support a seamless hiring process
• Adjust HR priorities based on business and operational demands while overseeing employee onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and contract renewals
• Maintain accurate employee records and personnel data, ensuring compliance with company policies and HR procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of practical experience n Human Resources and Labor Relations.
• Minimum 1 year of practical experience in a luxury hotel environment
• Minimum 1 year of practical experience as a sub-leader such as supervisor or team leader
• Basic knowledge of labour management and practical experience in shift scheduling
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Advanced business-level Japanese proficiency (CEFR C1 or higher, equivalent to JLPT N1)
• Business conversational level English proficiency (CEFR B1 or higher, equivalent to TOEIC 550 or above or IELTS 4.0 or above)
