Description
Geotechnical Engineer – Amaravati Project.
Location - Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh
Position Purpose:
To lead and manage geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design support for urban infrastructure projects, ensuring technically sound, safe, and cost-effective solutions in compliance with applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, supervise, and review geotechnical investigations including boreholes, field testing, and laboratory testing.
Interpret soil and rock data and prepare detailed geotechnical investigation reports.
Carry out design and review of shallow and deep foundations, retaining structures, embankments, slopes, and ground improvement works.
Provide technical inputs during design development and construction stages.
Review contractor submissions and ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant codes.
Identify geotechnical risks and recommend mitigation measures.
Coordinate with structural, utility, transportation, and other multidisciplinary teams for integrated project delivery.
Qualification & Experience:
B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering.
Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in urban infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of geotechnical design standards and analysis software.
