About the Role
The Sr. Talent Development Strategist partners with business leaders to diagnose performance needs and design scalable solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. This role applies a consultative, data-driven approach to align learning strategies with organizational priorities, ensuring solutions improve capability, accelerate performance, and optimize investment. Leverages modern learning technologies, including AI-enabled design and content development tools, to create scalable, efficient, and reusable solutions across the enterprise. Leads the end-to-end strategy, design, and evaluation of talent and learning solutions—leveraging modern modalities, technology, and measurement practices to deliver high-impact, efficient, and learner-centered experiences.
Day to day, you’ll
- Partners with business leaders to identify performance gaps, root causes, and capability needs; defines solution approaches aligned to business priorities and workforce strategy
- Defines and architects scalable learning strategies and blended solutions (including workflow learning, manager enablement, and digital/AI-supported experiences)
- Leads end-to-end design, curation, and development... ensuring alignment to adult learning principles, accessibility standards, and enterprise tools, with an emphasis on scalability, reuse, and AI-assisted development where appropriate
- Establishes success metrics and evaluates effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative data; connects learning outcomes to business impact (e.g., performance, productivity, engagement).
- Builds strong partnerships with stakeholders; leads communication and change strategies to drive adoption and sustain behavior change.
- Facilitates select learning experiences and builds internal capability through train-the-trainer, leader enablement resources, and certification approaches.
- Identifies opportunities to improve processes, tools, and design practices; evaluates and integrates emerging technologies (e.g., AI-enabled learning, automation, adaptive content)
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in learning and development, talent development, or organizational effectiveness in a corporate environment
- Demonstrated experience applying a performance consulting approach (needs analysis, solution diagnosis, stakeholder alignment)
- Experience designing learning solutions across modalities (digital, instructor-led, blended, experiential)
- Experience defining and executing measurement strategies tied to business impact
- Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, and modern learning technologies (e.g., LMS/LXP, content authoring tools, AI-enabled design, and development tools)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading complex, enterprise-scale talent development programs with a focus on scalability, reuse, and cross-functional impact
- Experience supporting operations, retail, or large distributed workforce populations
- Experience with modern learning technologies and content tools (e.g., Articulate, LMS platforms, AI-enabled design tools)
