As a Technical Project Manager on our team, you'll run delivery for programs supporting the nation's space and science mission. You'll coordinate engineers, analysts, and data specialists working at the edge of what's been done before, and you'll own the schedule, the deliverables, and the risk picture across all of it. Your client will trust you to know where the program stands at any moment, to see a slip coming before it lands, and to arrive with the tradeoff already worked through instead of the problem.

 

Your team will look to you for something else. You'll coach engineers through the hard stretches, clear the blockers they can't clear on their own, and build the kind of trust where people raise a risk while it's still small enough to fix. You Have: 

• 5+ years of experience managing programs or projects in an enterprise or government-facing environment
• Experience leading teams, including coaching staff, coordinating workload, and serving as the escalation point for operational issues
• Experience managing project scope, schedule, and deliverables and identifying, managing, and communicating project risks to senior leadership
• Experience facilitating cross-functional planning sessions and coordinating delivery across competing priorities
• Experience developing and delivering recurring reporting to senior leadership on program status, risk indicators, and milestone progress
• Experience using the Agile framework and the Sprint or Scrum approach to scope, execute, and track progress on a project
• Experience supporting compliance, audit preparation, or documentation management activities in a regulated environment
• Ability to function independently as a self-starter and manage work efficiently
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

• Experience supporting a NASA, civil space, or federal science agency program
• Experience directly supervising employees, including performance support and professional development
• Experience using Microsoft Project to build and manage project delivery
• Experience driving process improvement initiatives that measurably reduce operational friction across teams
• Experience supporting a technical program in cybersecurity, data engineering, or IT operations
• Experience managing delivery to a contract, including coordination with stakeholders
• Possession of excellent problem resolution and communication skills
• Possession of excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills
• Master's degree
• Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Certification and Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
