Job Description:
This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of project/small program deliverables which requires the engagement of multiple teams. Key responsibilities include communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, facilitating sync points across teams, providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables, and managing program risk and compliance to standards. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.
Responsibilities:
- Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates, etc.)
- Manages coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
- Facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline
- Provides status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule
- Works with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
- Supports resource planning for delivery and execution
- Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards
Role Overview
The Business Controls & Analytics team within Global Banking & Payments is responsible for executive reporting, data analytics, governance, and business insights across Banking & Payments Technology globally.
We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Executive Reporting & Insights Analyst to support senior leadership reporting across technology stability, operational performance, risk, controls, and strategic initiatives. This is a high-profile role with regular exposure to senior executives and provides the opportunity to influence decision-making through data-driven insights and storytelling.
The successful candidate will combine strong technical data skills with critical thinking and business acumen, transforming complex datasets into meaningful executive-level reporting, trends, and recommendations.
This role is not simply about producing reports. It is about understanding the "why" behind the numbers, identifying emerging risks and opportunities, and helping leaders make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Reporting & Analytics
- Produce accurate, timely, and actionable executive reporting for monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc leadership reviews.
- Analyze operational, stability, risk, and performance data to identify trends, anomalies, drivers, and emerging issues.
- Develop clear, concise executive narratives that explain what the data is telling us and why it matters.
- Generate insights and recommendations that support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Support preparation for CIO, CTO, and senior management reviews.
Data Analysis & Visualization
- Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets using SQL, Excel, and other analytical tools.
- Design and enhance Tableau dashboards and visualizations that provide meaningful insights to leadership teams.
- Perform thematic analysis across incidents, stability metrics, service performance, risk, and operational data.
- Develop reporting methodologies, KPIs, and performance measures that drive improved business outcomes.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with technology, operations, risk, and business teams to understand reporting requirements and business challenges.
- Act as a trusted advisor for reporting, analytics, and management information.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
Governance & Data Quality
- Maintain strong data governance and quality controls across reporting processes.
- Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and transparency.
- Maintain reporting documentation, data dictionaries, definitions, and analytical methodologies.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation opportunities across reporting processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience producing executive-level reporting and management information.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and determine root causes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, including complex formulas, modelling, and large dataset analysis.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Experience building dashboards and visualizations using Tableau (or equivalent BI platforms).
- Excellent PowerPoint skills with the ability to develop compelling executive presentations.
- Strong storytelling and communication skills, capable of translating complex information into simple, actionable messages.
- Experience working with large, complex datasets and multiple data sources.
- High attention to detail coupled with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
Desired Qualifications:
- Banking and Payments knowledge
- Experience supporting CIO, CTO, Operations, Risk, or Executive Leadership reporting.
- Exposure to technology stability reporting, incident management metrics, service availability, performance management, or operational risk reporting.
- Knowledge of KPI design, trend analysis, statistical analysis, and performance measurement frameworks.
- Experience automating reporting processes and improving data quality.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Python, Alteryx, or other analytics tools.
- Experience leveraging AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to improve reporting, analysis, and productivity.
