Administrative Assistant
Full Time: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay Range: $16.21 - $24.28 / hour
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support our daily operations and contribute to the smooth functioning of our organization. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, resourceful, and possess strong communication skills.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, including excellent telephone etiquette.
- Ability to accurately handle cash transactions.
- Strong clerical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer use, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Requirements
- Welcome and assist visitors and guests, directing them to the appropriate location or staff member.
- Answer incoming calls, provide information, and transfer calls to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate records, schedules, and listings.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to all departments, specifically Administration and Marketing.
- Maintain the Chapel schedule and distribute reminders as needed.
- Assist in locating staff or residents during emergencies.
- Foster and maintain cooperative relationships with residents and colleagues.
- Maintain a professional and collaborative working relationship with all King’s Grant departments.
- Operate standard office equipment, including computers, copiers, calculators, telephones, mail machines, and other office technology.
- Handle cash transactions in accordance with established procedures.
- Ensure the lobby and reception area remain clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Manage multiple incoming calls while assisting residents and visitors in person.
- Perform basic bookkeeping duties for guest rooms, Trellis Dining Room reservations, Marketing and Independent Living events, and Housekeeping services.
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Follow all policies and procedures of King’s Grant and Sunnyside Communities.
- Attend required meetings, trainings, and in-service sessions.
- Meet all training requirements as mandated by Federal and State regulations and Sunnyside Communities.
- Perform all duties in a safe, responsible, and professional manner.
- Performa other duties as assigned.
