The Digital Media Specialist is responsible for the management, development & optimization of Southern Tide’s digital marketing program. The Digital Media Specialist will help drive the growth and execution of key digital marketing channels, specifically organic search, organic social and e-mail marketing, while also serving as the liaison between Southern Tide and Oxford’s Marketing Center of Excellence for all paid media.This position is in office, located in Southern Tide's downtown Greenville SC office.
Crew Position:
Develop full funnel strategy in partnership with Oxford Marketing Center of Excellence designed to meet revenue goals, propel new customer acquisition and increase brand awareness
With guidance from Director of Marketing, manage relationship with Oxford’s Marketing Center of Excellence, including through day-to-day communication, status meetings, etc.
Partner with Digital Merchandising and Digital Analytics team members to identify key product categories and styles to support with digital marketing messages
Manage & develop campaign calendar for e-mail marketing, SMS, promotions, organic social & paid media channels and work closely with the Creative Content team to ensure parity with brand marketing initiatives.
Lead content planning process for paid media & organic social channels, including submitting creative and copywriting requests and ensuring assets align with specific tactics and targeting strategies.
Utilize customer data analytics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities, and implement data-driven strategies in marketing campaigns.
Partner with Oxford’s Marketing Center of Excellence to ensure best practices, budget and ROAS targets are being met.
Analyze campaign performance by channel and across channels. Ensure ongoing optimization of digital marketing channels and drive YoY growth and healthy ROI.
Stay current on market trends, emerging technologies, and environmental climates that affect traffic and demand for online sales
Provide weekly and monthly reporting on KPI’s as well as the creation of standard ad hoc reports to support the growing needs of the channel.
Manage relationships with social media agencies & establish key performance indicator (KPI) benchmarks across all organic channels, monitoring metrics routinely.
Manage written content for organic and paid media, as well as southerntide.com, specifically to produce copy & blog articles.
Additional Responsibilities:
Lead weekly calls with Oxford’s Marketing Center of Excellence & agency partners
Partner with key members of the Merchandising, Creative Content and Digital Commerce teams to drive results
Complete deeper dive analyses into campaigns, tactics or channels as requested
