Position: Business Development Manager – International Logistics
Location: Toronto, ON (Primarily Remote | 1–2 days/month in office)
Work Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 base + uncapped commission + mileage reimbursement + travel expenses + benefits

Our client is a rapidly growing international freight forwarding and logistics provider with a strong global footprint spanning North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. They deliver customized international transportation, customs brokerage, and supply chain solutions, supported by a robust global network and experienced operations team.
As they continue investing in their Canadian business, they are seeking a dedicated sales professional in the Canadian market. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in expanding the company's presence across Canada while enjoying the autonomy and entrepreneurial environment of a growing organization backed by an established international infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship building.
- Sell a full suite of international logistics solutions, including Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs Brokerage, and multimodal transportation services.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through proposal development, negotiation, closing, and account onboarding.
- Build long-term customer relationships by understanding client supply chain challenges and delivering customized logistics solutions.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately track customer activity using HubSpot CRM.
- Partner closely with operations, customer service, and leadership teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
- Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships and develop new business.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of business development or account executive experience within freight forwarding, international logistics, customs brokerage, or non-asset-based transportation.
- Proven success developing new business and consistently achieving sales targets.
- Experience selling multiple international transportation modes, including Air and Ocean Freight.
- Comfortable managing the full sales cycle independently, from prospecting through account management.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a highly autonomous, entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience using CRM platforms; HubSpot experience is considered an asset.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Existing network or book of business within freight forwarding or international logistics.
- Knowledge of customs brokerage and international trade.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
