Your New Role…
The Digital Ad Operations team is looking for a Media Planning Executive to develop and coordinate digital ad sales media campaigns across Warner Bros Discovery’s International portfolio. The Executive will report to the Digital Planning Manager and will support on response to client brief, forecasting and managing inventory availability, building media plans, monitoring campaign bookings and coordinating with central and international sales teams and support teams.
The Digital Ad Operations team sits within the International Ad Sales organization. The Media Planning Executive will be part of a talented team of individuals located in London and Paris. The role of this team is to support the 15 international sales teams in securing digital advertising revenue from external clients/brands across the globe.
To be successful as a Digital Media Planning Executive you should be highly organised and detail orientated, be confident in Excel and working with numbers, be proactive and confident in navigating a fast-paced sales environment and be a quick learner. Previous experience in Media either at a media owner, agency or in-house client side is advantageous but not essential, a successful candidate will show an interest and willingness to learn.
Your Role Accountabilities…
Be the principal point of contact for your assigned sales teams, supporting them with general information, strategic recommendation and tailored response-to-brief media plans.
Build compelling media plans which consider client’s objectives, budgets and requirements, recommending products and solutions tailored to their needs to secure investment.
Coordinate responses with local inventory teams to ensure all digital media plans built are compliant with local commercial rules, pricing and inventory availability.
Create inventory forecasts on the Ad Servers or data dashboards (i.e., Looker, GAM, Freewheel) to inform media planning of the available capacity for the media plan.
Pass confirmed campaigns to the traffic managers to ensure a seamless transition between pre/post sale, making sure the traffic team have all the information and access to setup the campaign to go live.
Monitor and track the digital pipeline, checking campaign statuses with the sales teams on a regular basis to make sure we have an up to date and complete view of all prospective, booked and cancelled deals to inform inventory availability and other parties.
Maintain close working relationships with the sales teams, traffic managers and inventory managers to keep all parties informed and up-to-date on the digital sales pipeline.
Qualifications & Experience…
Highly organised and detail orientated,
A proactive self-starter with initiative, drive and a solution mindset,
A quick learner, comfortable in a dynamic environment and effective at multitasking,
Confident in Excel, including formulas, currencies, calculations, tables, data visualisation,
Confident in communicating strategic recommendation and expertise in written and verbal format,
Fluent in English, second language beneficial (principally French, Spanish, German, Cantonese).
