As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Carry authorized equipment, including a firearm, in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, training, and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess at least 1 year of armed guard, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
