Job Overview

The Head of Treasury will lead the Treasury function, overseeing liquidity, cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, fund management, trade finance, and financial risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead treasury operations, including cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management.
• Develop and implement treasury, funding, and financial risk management strategies.
• Manage foreign exchange exposure, hedging, and financing activities.
• Develop and maintain tax planning and compliance strategies.
• Oversee international trade finance activities and export debt collection.
• Maintain strong relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
• Ensure compliance with Central Bank requirements and other relevant regulations.
• Prepare treasury reports and provide financial insights to senior management and the Board.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Treasury team.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Fully qualified CA Sri Lanka or CIMA, with a degree or MBA.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar capacity within a reputed organization.
• Experience working in an ERP environment; SAP experience is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong ability to build relationships with banks, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High level of integrity and ability to meet deadlines.
• Age: Below 45 years.
