TEAM OVERVIEW:
We are seeking enthusiastic and driven college interns to join the AGS Business Operations & Strategy team onsite in Santa Clara, CA. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects that contribute to the overall business operation excellence of AGS. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced business environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Data Pipeline Automation and Data Visualization: Utilize your computer science skills to develop and enhance data pipelines that automate the flow of data required for Sales & Operation Planning. You will work on creating effective data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to present data insights in a clear and actionable manner. This involves understanding user requirements, designing data models, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Operational Project Support: Apply your business management skills to support various operational projects. This includes implementing best practices in operational excellence, developing frameworks to streamline processes, and creating ways of working models to enhance productivity and efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, document processes, and track project progress.
- Project Management: Utilize your project management skills to effectively manage projects within the AGS operations organization. You will be responsible for creating project plans, aligning on resources, and monitoring project timelines. Additionally, you will communicate regularly with stakeholders and provide status updates.
- Events and Communications: Apply your planning and communication skills to create engaging content such as brochures, newsletters, and support employee events. You will create a robust segmentation framework/document to outline the various stakeholders in a way that is meaningful to the team. You will create strategy presentation best known methods – analyze gold standard for existing strategy presentations and develop BKMs for future decks.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis, data visualization, and statistical software/tools.
- Creativity and attention to detail in event planning and communication tasks.
REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Operations or a related field
- MBA is a plus
- GPA of 3.0 or above preferred
- Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
