Internship – Business (Summer 2027 & Year-Round Opportunities)

About the Roles:

These Baird business internships offer students a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment within the financial industry. Through meaningful projects and day-to-day responsibilities, students will develop essential workplace skills, deepen their understanding of financial services and build a strong foundation for future career growth.

These are hybrid internships, working 3-4 days per week in our downtown Milwaukee, WI office and 1-2 days remote. The intern must be able to work full-time during the summer, 37.5-40 hours per week. Some internships also include part-time work during the school semesters, 15-20 hours per week. We are seeking students who can start in May 2027.

What You’ll Bring to Baird:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, criminology or other related areas  

• Anticipated graduation date of May 2029 or later

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively as a team player

• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet specific deadlines

• Attention to detail, accuracy and reliability with a drive for continuous improvement

• Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills

• Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
