About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Specialist to join our ANZ HR team. Reporting to the ANZ HR Manager, you will support the delivery of payroll, HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, and Workday administration across Australia and New Zealand.
Working closely with our outsourced payroll provider (BIPO), you will ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing while maintaining employee data integrity and delivering a seamless employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll
- Manage the relationship with BIPO.
- Review payroll inputs, reconciliations, and exception reports.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing.
- Resolve payroll queries and support audits and compliance activities.
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage onboarding, employment changes, leave administration, and offboarding.
- Prepare employment contracts, variations, and employee communications.
- Support annual remuneration and bonus review processes.
- Act as a key contact for employee and manager HR/payroll enquiries.
Workday & Reporting
- Maintain accurate employee data and HR records in Workday.
- Conduct data audits and support system enhancements and testing.
- Produce HR reports and workforce insights.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and automation.
About You
You will have:
- Experience in HR Operations, Payroll, or HR Shared Services.
- Experience managing outsourced payroll providers in Australia and/or New Zealand.
- Strong understanding of payroll compliance and HR administration.
- Hands-on Workday experience.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and customer service capabilities.
- Advanced Excel skills.
Preferred
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, Commerce, or a related field.
- Experience supporting regional or multi-country HR operations.
- Exposure to HR reporting, HRIS management, and process improvement initiatives.
