Description
The Senior Benefits Analyst is responsible for administering the company’s employee benefits programs, managing benefit-related requests, and resolving escalated benefits issues with a high degree of independence and judgment. This role ensures compliance with U.S. federal and state laws governing employee benefit plans while providing expert guidance on benefits administration and decision-making.

Protects the organization from compliance and operational risks by applying expertise in U.S. federal and state benefits regulations and ensuring adherence to applicable laws and policies.
Drives continuous improvement of benefits offerings by supporting the design, evaluation, and implementation of benefit plans that align with business objectives and employee needs.
Maintains strong partnerships with more than 20 benefits vendors, ensuring seamless service delivery, issue resolution, and a positive employee experience across the benefits ecosystem.
What You Will Do
Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, and HR on escalated benefits issues, providing guidance, issue resolution, and communication support to ensure a positive employee experience.
Manage the relationship with key benefits vendors, particularly Alight, by monitoring service performance, identifying issues, and driving timely resolutions.
Oversee the benefits appeals process by conducting investigations, researching cases, developing recommendations, and preparing responses as needed.
Provide reporting, audit support, and training related to benefits administration and escalation processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
Monitor federal and state benefits regulations, legislative changes, and market trends to support compliance and inform benefits program decisions.
Support benefits initiatives and special projects, contributing to process improvements and the successful implementation of department priorities.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably supporting employee benefits administration, employee relations, or HR operations.
Experience managing benefits-related processes, including issue resolution, vendor coordination, and employee support.
Exposure to a unionized manufacturing environment and an understanding of the unique benefits and workforce considerations within that setting.
