Role & Responsibilities:

Job Definition (Key Purpose of the Job):

VF Brands is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Supply Digital Engineering to lead and manage technology teams that design, develop, and operate end-to-end digital solutions across the product supply Organization. The role drives digital transformation initiatives spanning Artificial Intelligence (AI), Automation, Data & Analytics, Systems Integration, and ERP -- enabling VF's supply chain operations to be smarter, faster, and more resilient.

The applicant will lead sizeable, cross-functional development teams delivering solutions across supply chain planning (ERP/SAP), AI-powered decision support, intelligent automation, data platforms, and enterprise integration. The applicant will work in an agile environment, collaborating closely with product owners, architects, engineering teams, scrum masters, and internal/external developer teams.

Key Result Areas:

Digital Transformation & Strategy

  • Define and drive the digital transformation roadmap for APAC supply chain operations, spanning AI, automation, data, integration, and ERP domains.
  • Align VF's product supply business needs, developer talent, and technology trends to determine solution development priorities across supply chain domains.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and product owners to identify high-value transformation opportunities and translate them into executable technology initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the architecture team to establish solution architecture standards for Product Supply Digital systems, ensuring scalability, resilience, and interoperability.

AI & Automation

  • Lead the design and delivery of AI-powered solutions for supply chain use cases -- including demand forecasting, inventory optimization, quality inspection, and logistics intelligence.
  • Drive intelligent automation initiatives across manufacturing, warehousing, and fulfillment operations using RPA, process mining, and workflow automation platforms.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging AI/ML frameworks and tools relevant to supply chain optimization, and build team capability in applied AI engineering.

Data & Analytics

  • Oversee the development of supply chain data platforms, including data pipelines, data warehouses, and real-time analytics dashboards to support operational decision-making.
  • Champion a data-driven culture across supply chain functions by enabling self-service analytics and actionable reporting for business teams.
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and lineage standards are applied across supply chain data assets.

Systems Integration & ERP

  • Lead the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing support of ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) covering supply chain planning, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics modules.
  • Define integration architecture and govern API/EDI/event-based integration between ERP, WMS, TMS, supplier portals, and external partners.
  • Analyze and modernize legacy supply chain systems; define migration strategies that minimize operational disruption.

Team Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead team building efforts -- define talent roadmaps and recruit diverse skill sets spanning AI/ML engineers, ERP specialists, data engineers, integration developers, and full-stack engineers.
  • Define guidelines to balance workload between internal and external development teams, including system integrators and ERP implementation partners.
  • Establish and continuously improve agile development processes, DevOps practices, and delivery standards across all Product Supply Digital workstreams.
  • Govern project delivery quality, timelines, and budget across a portfolio of concurrent Product Supply Digital transformation initiatives.

Competency Requirements:

Behavioral Competencies -

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to define and communicate a compelling digital transformation vision for supply chain operations.
  • Strong team organizer with experience managing large, cross-functional technology teams across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills -- able to engage business, operations, and technology partners at all levels.
  • Solid technology foundation with the ability to navigate across AI, automation, data, integration, and ERP domains.
  • Able to see the full picture, break complexity, and manage inter-dependencies across multiple Product Supply Digital domains.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and passionate about applying emerging technologies to drive supply chain efficiency and resilience.
  • Focused on delivering measurable business results; comfortable balancing innovation with pragmatic execution.
  • Positive can-do attitude with comfort navigating ambiguity in a complex, multi-brand, multi-market APAC environment.

Functional Competencies -

  • 10+ years of experience in software development or digital transformation, with demonstrated leadership in supply chain technology or operations technology.
  • 10+ years of experience leading sizeable development teams (~15 or more people), including ERP specialists, AI/data engineers, and integration developers.
  • Solid knowledge of AI/ML platforms and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Azure AI, AWS SageMaker) with experience delivering production AI solutions in supply chain contexts.
  • Solid knowledge of ERP platforms, particularly SAP (SCM, MM, WM, PP modules) or equivalent supply chain planning and execution systems.
  • Solid knowledge of supply chain integration patterns, EDI, and API/event-based integration with external partners, WMS, and TMS platforms.
  • Solid knowledge of data engineering fundamentals -- ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Redshift), and BI tools.
  • Solid knowledge of automation technologies including RPA (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate) and process automation frameworks.
  • Solid knowledge of popular programming languages such as Java, Python, NodeJS, or C# for building custom supply chain solution components.
  • Familiar with micro-service and event-driven architecture frameworks (e.g., Spring Cloud, Kafka) relevant to supply chain data flows.
  • Familiar with containerization, serverless deployment, and Kubernetes for cloud-based supply chain platform management.
  • Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in AWS, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud environments.
  • Familiar with Scrum/Agile methodologies, including managing mixed teams with ERP implementation partners.
