Intro:
What You Will Do:
- Administers Total Rewards programs, communicating with internal customers and partnering with external vendors
- Participates in Total Rewards related projects, interacting with consultants and internal partners
- Performs qualitative and quantitative research on Total Rewards related programs to support business and talent challenges
- Ensures compliance of Total Rewards programs and policies and manages employee data in line with company policies
What You Have :
- Education/Experience: Degree or equivalent experience desired
- Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
- Interpersonal Relationships: Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner
- Benefits Programs: Knowledge of employee benefits programs, processes, issues and considerations; ability to design and implement benefits programs
What Will Set You Apart :
- Knowledge of compensation structure, and regulations and policies related to compensation; ability to design, implement and evaluate compensation programs, policies and processes within an organization
- Knowledge of features, policies and processes of retirement programs; ability to implement and manage employee retirement programs and plans
- Experience conducting job analysis and salary survey activities
- Experience analyzing corporate benefits plans and market trends
- Experience working with external benefits and retirement vendors
- Experience supporting Total Rewards communications and related projects
Summary Pay Range:
$72,360.00 - $108,540.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
