About the Role
As a Decision Support Analyst (Revenue & Cost), you will provide data-driven insights to support business decision-making across both revenue performance and cost management. Working closely with commercial, finance, and operations teams, you will transform complex data into meaningful analysis, recommendations, and reporting that help drive business performance and strategic outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Analyze revenue trends, product/segment profitability, and customer/channel performance
- Analyze cost drivers, cost allocation, budget variances, and efficiency opportunities across departments
- Build and maintain financial/operational models (P&L, forecasts, scenario analysis)
- Prepare dashboards and reports for management, highlighting risks and opportunities on both the revenue and cost sides
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning cycles
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis for pricing decisions, cost-saving initiatives, and investment business cases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, operations, finance) to gather data and validate assumptions
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities in reporting
Requirements
- Have a Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
- Strong Excel skills; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) a plus
- Solid understanding of financial statements, cost accounting, and revenue recognition principles
- Analytical mindset with ability to translate complex data into clear business narratives
- Strong communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders
