Turn advances in AI into useful products that solve real business problems. This hands-on technical leadership role combines rapid experimentation with strong software engineering. You will shape implementation choices, work directly with product partners and take promising ideas through to supported production capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver AI applications using language models, retrieval, structured outputs and tool-calling workflows.
• Connect AI capabilities to enterprise data, APIs and services through reusable, well-tested components.
• Build evaluation datasets and automated checks for accuracy, task completion, security and failure behavior.
• Choose models and implementation approaches using measured quality, latency, cost and maintainability.
• Implement appropriate permissions, human review and safeguards for agent actions, including prompt-injection resistance and safe failure.
• Instrument application traces, feedback and production performance; version configurations and support regression testing and rollback.
• Use AI coding agents throughout development, share effective practices and remain accountable for the code and systems delivered.
• Collaborate with researchers, data engineers and product teams; mentor engineers and own delivery from prototype through production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally including 2–3 years building AI or machine learning applications.
• Evidence of shipping and operating AI-enabled software, with a clear account of your own technical contributions.
• Strong backend programming, API design, testing and cloud deployment skills.
• Hands-on experience with language models, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, tool use and structured output validation.
• Experience with evaluation, observability and improving AI behavior from real failures and user feedback.
• Proficiency with AI coding assistants or agents; sound technical judgment and a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.
• How you work with AI
• Use AI to accelerate implementation and investigation while independently checking generated code, test coverage and security assumptions.
• Experiment with new models and tools, share what works and choose simpler approaches when they achieve the required result.
• Agent orchestration, Model Context Protocol or comparable integrations, model-provider abstraction, full-stack prototyping, and enterprise software or media technology experience.

Compensation Range: USD $88,540.00 - USD $141,687.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
