Accounts Payable Supervisor

Essential Functions

• Lead the invoice processing function: manage, train, and develop AP staff in all aspects of Accounts Payable, including Coupa, Crunchtime, SAP, and Docuware.
• Manage four onshore AP team members and oversee at least ten offshore contractors.
• Support the Director and Sr. Manager of AP in keeping processes aligned with team and Company goals, and in meeting or exceeding performance targets.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Procurement to improve the requisition, invoice flow, and exception process.
• Complete month-end activities, including accruals and assigned close tasks, and support the accounting department as needed.
• Provide SOX control and audit support for Accounts Payable.
• Perform vendor reconciliations and resolve variances.
• Produce AP aging reporting.
• Oversee 1099 processing and coordinate year-end 1099 filing with the third-party provider.
• Respond to vendors and internal customers on inquiries, data requests, and reporting requests within established turnaround times.
• Support and manage Accounts Payable activities for new venue openings.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience.
• 2+ years as an AP lead or supervisor in a high-volume environment.
• Working knowledge of high-volume, inventory-intensive AP, including three-way match (purchase order, receiving, invoice).
• Ability to work with vendors and employees at all levels of the organization promptly and professionally.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to learn systems quickly and contribute from the first 90 days.
• Comfort in a fast-growing environment where processes change as venues are added.

Preferred

• ERP experience in SAP, Oracle, or other large ERP system.
• Experience with Coupa, Crunchtime, or Docuware.
