Job Description

As a Security Officer in Cromwell, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will use computer or tablet tools to document security-related activities, communicate clearly, and help deter incidents through a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, screening authorized visitors and contractors, maintaining visitor records, and directing individuals in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entry points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, access logs, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
